At our service, the engineers picked up that the in-line filter to our AC had disintegrated, and are struggling to find a replacement.
Unfortunately I dont have a picture of it, but it is a cylindrical mesh filter about 6 inches long and an inch or so in diameter that sits in the inlet valve immediately above the seacock. They have said it will be OK to run the AC for a short time without it, but I would prefer to have it as protection.
I believe (hope) that there may be a mesh across the outer part of the skin fitting providing some protection, but has anyone sourced such a filter before - and of so from where ?
