My engine is raw water cooled, there is a auxiliary circuit for the calorifier which needs its own pump.
Previously it had a Johnson cm10p-1 mag drive pump which isn’t ideal, the previous owner had to epoxy coat the impeller (after the first one disintegrated) as it’s not meant to be ran in sea water and to be fair it’s lasted well but I broke the housing pulling it apart.
So I need a small capacity pump, low flow, low current draw and capable of dealing with around 100 degrees (take off is on the block so high temp meaning no diaphragm and impeller pumps) all of that isnt the problem as there are plenty of pumps available just nothing that is any use for salt water.
Is there any other options anyone has found or is it back to the old fix? Johnson do a cm90 which seems to fit the bill but the flow rate is ott
