rare stanchions!!!

Hi everyone,


Right I am having a mission - I need to replace two stanchions, however i can't find my current ones as i wish for them to match
I think i can buy the correct height, but the middle hole is slightly higher than normal.
I have attached a photo, any ideas??????

Iam at my wits end, i dont want the guard rail to dip!

Failing that try the Foulkes 2nd hand chandlery barge, which from Aladdin's cave is under the railway bridge and down the lane on the opposite side of the road.

Thanks for your help - aladins can't help - just been on the phone to them.
It won't help contacting the people who made my boat as it's pretty custom.

I've looked in catalogues for Barden/Holt/Sea-Sure/Plastimo/West Marine/Harken/RWO to no avail. I had no idea that there were sopme many variations of stanchions! You could try http://www.picea-316.co.uk/productchoice.html but dimension are not given.

Have you considered getting the old ones repaired?
