Seems the place has taken a turn for the better.
Gone are the days of partially defrosted chicken Tika.

Looking to revisit at the earliest possible opportunity.

yes thanks & recently serviced too & a kind mooring holder offered me the use of his dinghy complete with a lawnmower o/b damn they are noisy.

BTW what's all this about you complaining the pub isn't for locals any more? I thought all the moorings were owned by townies from the home counties?

If you time the tide correctly, you can moor onto the end of the pier and have lunch.

I've heard the Ramsholt Quay can be quite dangerous

Purely by chance we spent an absolutely magical evening there yesterday, courtesy of George finding us a mooring just off the end of the hard. Nice food at a not outrageous price and very prompt service, dog friendly bar and a perfect pint of Adnams. What's not to like? Hopefully the pub will continue to prosper enough to refurbish the gents loos ( the ladies, I am reliably informed, are in a good state)
