Steady there..... Dominic (masculine) is the chap you're talking about.... Dominique (feminine), may just be a figment of a sailor's imagination on these dreary winter days?
Dominic Evans (for it was he), took over from myself as Asst HM and Pilot at Ramsgate when I side-stepped to Dover in 1994. Nice fellow and very professional in every respect. He did indeed leave under the circumstances that Tomahawk describes and was last heard of at Barrow-in-Furness I think.
