Wonder why he didn’t drop his anchor as he was being swept ashore.

Could have been too lumpy to access the bow. Not much in the way of guard rails appear to be fitted

Sad to see. I think we moored near the boat when visiting Chatham MDL. I think it was a charter boat then it was on the market.

Wonder what boat it was, from the design looks to be be 1980s and bit old for charter work ?
Do wonder what was so urgent for it to be out in those conditions at this time of year, around the N Foreland, perhaps a new owner in transit to Ramsgate or Dover.
