I have raised a fair amount of interest on a Scuttlebutt posting, with regard to organising a mini rally to Southern Ireland.

To avoid repeating everything, here is the posting. http://www.ybw.com/forums/showthread.php?p=2717141#post2717141
This link takes you to page 5, which is the current page.
The Bristol Channel is well placed as a launchpad to Ireland and there is also a suggestion of the fleet calling into the Scilly Isle, where others could meet up.

If anyone is interested, please take a look and PM me, if you would like to have personal updates.

Show your interest...

I now have at least 4 people interested in this rally, from Bristol Channel bases.

I am wondering if members of various local clubs in the area. Might like to spread the word and join in as clubs, as well.

Is this raggies only. If I do manage to get my new mobo for next year I would be very interested. I've done inter-propulsional rallies before and they work out OK with a bit of planning!

No problem.. perhaps we will be able to convert you!!:D

Everyone is welcome to make a passage in the company of others, first to Ireland gets the Guinness..;)

I have updated the forum on Scuttlebutt about the progress of planning the rally to Ireland.

Those of you who have declared an interest, please take a look.

A definitive passage itinerary will be published in January.

I am lookinf forward to sailing with you all..:)
