Rally Flag?

Nigel,

Could you nominate a flag which we can fly to identify ourselves to each other?...and post a pic or a drawing. The only flag I have details of is the 'mouse & champagne' one which I remember you said you do NOT fly.

I was trying to get together a flag ... I made flags for the previous one I did .... >

but I couldn't get hold of the T-Shirt transfer paper ... it's hard to get out here. And I don't have enough time in UK to sort there either. I did plan to create a PBOMeet 3 flag ...

I do have a flag ..... >

but is for Small Boat "Club" ... as my ID indicates.

As regards to "Merry Mouse" flag that some have ... why not ?? Honest - it doesn't bother me at all ... I shall be flying my flags of :

PBO Mag

PBO Meet 2

SBC

FBYC

and of course the RNLI.


IF you must have a Flag or sign identifying ...... then I suggest just :

PBO 3

in Big Capital bold letters centred in black on white ? even an A4 paper sheet will do that and clip to dodgers etc. ?

Because the mouse 'n bubbly logo is too abstruse for most forumites and doesn't really represent what we' have in common. Back to the drawing board please!

I find this somewhat perverse -

1. clearly we (here) have 'mouse' in common or we couldn't be here
2. I have yet to have any offer of a drink, in a glass of some shape or another, dsimissed out of hand as 'we don't do that'. The glass is representative of socialisising - which clearly any 2 forumites meeting are, to some degree, doing. That you make your post suggesting that 'we' don't share the use of this internet forum and socialising on an internet forum thread dedicated to getting together to socialise in Yarmouth is bizarre...............

What rubbish. You show me a club flag which says more about what the 'club' is about than the current forum flag does. Ultimately it's not for others to understand but more to identify us to each other. imho.

IMHO the only thing wrong with the present flag is that the bleaching action of the "sun" makes the colours fade so that both the blue and the gold become hard to distinguish. I guess I will have to buy another one soon.

I am NOT anti the Champers-mouse....

If that is what you want - use it ....

I suggested a A4 paper print of "PBO 3" so that entering Yarmouth Harbour - you would be ID'd by RIB ....

I don't really care - cause it's a boat do - not a "Mouse" do ....


I would care more if I had been able to produce the PBO Meet 3 flags I wanted to do ... FREE OF CHARGE ........... but materials I needed were not available here in Latvia - so I gave up on idea ...

Brendans --------- Take a word of advice please - You have no idea of who is involved in organisation of this meeting ... do you honestly think that I am the only one doing this ???? Make a prat of yourself on this - it will go down in YBW history !!!!!

Oh .... I nearly forgot .... Don't forget to bring plenty of Charcoal !!
