I'm planning a circumnavigation. one of the options is to go with a rally, the Blue Water rally is the only one i know of so far. does anyone know of any others?
The cost of £9k, only 20 months to go round and scheduled only every 2 years all make me wonder if it would suit us. anyone out there taken part or have experience of them?
i have done ARC and ARC Europe which was fun but had a few disadvantages, particularly 'having' to go on a set day regardless of weather and missing some interesting places en route (e.g. barbados).
i would rather be part of a group for panama and the red sea/suez, also for the officialdom in the galapagos.
any views or experiences welcome.
