Hi all out last thursday off north west corner Lambay and saw yacht that struck the tailor rock being raised.It was lifted on to the hard on Friday looking rather sad.

Does not too bad to me.
Assume the fitting on the hull in the first picture is where she wass holed.
Look a steel hull so presuambly easy to repair the hull.
Insides and equipment is another story of course.
She must have been going pretty fast to get holed like that.

dont know full story,but there was the suggestion of fog.Hull should fix o.k.

Should not be going that fast in FOG
What happened to the depth sounder?
What about radar?
What about GPS?
Did she have any on board, were they on, were they working, was anyone monitoring or paying attention to them?
