Raggie rage. Was I in the wrong?

I've found that when they've marked the course across the full length of the channel the best route to take is to pass as close as possible to the outer side of the 'official' boat (the one with all the flags) as possible. And smile nicely at the dickheads on board. I hope I don't spill their lukazade.
If you watch closely they pull the flags up and down ... if you wait until 58 seconds after they've dropped the P flag (blue flag with white square in the middle) then you'll cause least disruption .... ;) *

* for those of you who don't know - the P flag is the preparatory signal - when it goes up there is generally 4 minutes to the start - when it comes down there is just 1 minute to the start ...

Someone mentioned the dinghies crossing in the approach channel to Chi marina. The Dinghies from Chichester yacht club are told to keep clear of anything in the approach channel and not to assume they are the stand on vessel.
