Yes, the scrutineer said it wasn't actually against the rules! In the interests of fair play they didn't use it though.

Sorry I missed it, I was down at Aber Menai & the scurvey crew didn't want to get out of bed & get wet. So I had to resort to sitting in the conservatory eating, drinking & sleeping all day.

There was a wet suit & a couple of towels worn at the boom end. Is that correct? Oh, and a Scuttlebut burgee.
