sorry to be a pain but desperately trying if possible to contact lesley who lived with ian on the raft in richmond she is my cousin and a dear friend of my late wife. have tried all other means to find out even trying to contact her sister joyce in the isle of man. this forum was the only mention i have of lesley and ian. do hope someone will have any information they could share with me. kind regards billy ward

Try Hammertons Ferry, they are just up from him.

That said I have only ever seen one person living on the raft.

I think there was a woman on it before the fire which occurred a number of yars ago.

Another possible way of contacting might be the facebook 'Liquid Highway' site as that seems to be populated by a lot of knowledgeable River folk. Its a site about Boats, mainly tugs, on the tidal Thames.

I don't know if you can email them as am not a facebook login user but the site has a lot of interesting pictures.
