Radome up grade

Im in the process, of up grading my Raymarine equipment, but my Raydome is not compatible with the E series, rather than replace it, I understand Raymarine offer an upgrade with a board and software change.
Does anyone have any experience of this, or is there any other options(apart from buying a new one)?

i had the same problem or so i thought, how old is the radome, if its after may 03 should be ok

This is interesting as I was looking to go the E route and have got the same problem. My radome will be from about 98 when the boat was built......

Still wondering if they are going to bring out an E Wide series....

Bugger, its Feb 03, I suppose that stacks up, it was the London boat show display boat.

1998 will definitely not be compatible.

For any '03 built one, it's worth checking the exact serial numbers before reaching for the whisky.
