There is a lot about the Ross Revenge to be found on line. I think she got turfed out of Chatham due to insurance and liability concerns.

The original radio mast blew down in a gale, the present one is the replacement.

They are currently fundraising to get her into dry dock and some expected hull re plating needed.

Radio Caroline is what we mostly listen to at home. Good music, not much chatter, and only a short advert break every half hour. I have a Rasbery Pi set up as a music box to stream from the internet (it can also play stored music on it's memory card and a few other tricks)

My only regret is I can't get it in the car. I could stream it from the phone app but I found whenever it swaps from one mobile mast to another the app pauses and you have to push the button to re start it. So that is a dead loss on the move, only of use if you are stationary.

I stream Radio Caroline via their app when I'm driving and haven't had problems with the signal dropping out.

The AM signal is broadcast from Orford Ness, using one of BBC World Service's transmitter and frequency.
