Radice stern seal grease?

The engineer that fitted my Radice stern seal has lost the tube of grease. Now, while it's easily replaced, I already have plenty of silicone grease on board. Is there anything special about the "proper stuff" or will silicone grease be OK?

The 'proper stuff' is silicone grease, so no issues using what you have.
