Ah - now the Soprano Sax interests me ... is it the straight or bent one?
I need to get a lot more practice in on my sax's ... but relucatant to take expensive instruments to the boat via an open tender /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

It's a C melody straight soprano, by Ramponi, who have a super web site and some tasty looking new models.
I wrecked an old Hawkes tenor by rowing it around in choppy seas. First the case goes...
A delightful little Elkhart alto, silver plate with a gold bowl, was sold prior to sailing off and so was saved.
The soprano is still going strong despite a hefty time and distance aboard.
