Have just fitted this unit to replace previous dodgy cheaper filter assembly - can't remeber make! All installed okay, but on advice did not fit Non Return Fuel Check Valve, although Racor installation sheet says to as filter assembly is above fule tank - there wasn't one fitted previously without problem.
I have found now that after running engine and coming back the next day on start-up engine runs, then cuts out and I have to bleed system to restart.
Does this sound as though fitting a Non Return Fuel Check Valve will resolve the issue? Any advice gladly accepted.
