Hello,
I invite you to learn more about the capital of Ecuador.

Quito has the largest historical center of Latin America
and it has an enormous cultural and artistic heritage. In
this sector ten churches are located. They are among the
most beautiful colonial buildings of America.

There are also many museums were there are many
transcendental painting and sculpture masterpieces, of
modern and colonial periods.

There are hotels in Quito that form a part of the modern
section of Quito.

My Daughter does something out there - I have a fine hat from Quito in which I look a dandy.

Isn't Quito the national capital furthest from the sea --- in a vertical direction?

Mind you its not that far from Lake Titicaca, wasn't that Tristan Jones favourite cruising spot?

Who is going with you - or is this another forum weekend, in which case I'd be very interested. Not sure that Jimi would be allowed in though.

Re: Sofia - Bulgaria

I think this must be a mistake. Surely someone called Sofia wd want to invite us to Bulgaria, and not south america?

Anyway, it's a well known fact that all capitals have museums full of stuff nicked or bought from other countries, and lots of empty chuches long since emptied of anything very valuable. But these monumnets and museums are attractive to tourists, especially couples out on a dirty weekend who can visit the museums etc to demonstrate how cultured they are to each other, before retiring to their hotel room for well-deserved nookie.
