I was asked to go pick up a 43ft sport cruiser that was coming in as a trade in today, rather nice those Targa 43s, helmed 2 or 3 recently and really enjoyed them. Anyway here goes,
Met delightful owner of the boat [ now ex owner] , at the boat, we went though this and that , then I was ready to go. She started and everything work, now this you know is not always a thing that happens.
So out of the marina I potter, remembering the 10knot speed limit and head out though the Haven, out to bar buoy and turn left,
and this is what I saw.
on a bit more, hope my Nav is OK,
Is it a container ship?
yippee, its the needles light house, and its were I thought it should be.
oooh I see land
Came round the corner and saw
WOW,
, Right 4 red buoys to find then a cardinal , couple of greens , cardinal then left and on right cardinal after a couple more green and down to 6 knots and Home.
It was chilly out there at points but had all covers up, so much so that the camera was stuck out of a unzipped bit to take the pics.
So very flat as well you could see every seagull and they were sometime showing up on radar.
Got back and popped her on a tricky berth, made easy today as little tide and wind. Tied her up and felt very pleased with myself, but er Cold /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
