Quiet, innit?

I've sailed less each year for at least the last four years and this isn't what I expected, I thought that retirement would mean I had more time. I do have more time now but I don't seem to want to go sailing. The weather has been a big factor, and Irish Sea fatigue. Beyond that I just don't seem to enjoy it the same.

We haven't left the pontoon since launch so far this season. Lack of motivation on my part, it's just been so cold. The only half decent weekends, I've had other commitments.

Not sure about Irish Sea fatigue, it's the fear of a congested A55 that does it for me.

Whilst there is a genal agreement amongst us odd peeps who boat about in muck. We may not be seeing the whole picture... Are there any members of this parish who also partake of the "G" thingie, (you know that oddity with funny bats to hit a small ball into a hole), or evern more odd, sitting on a horse, alternatevely motor sport on two wheels or four? I suggest those activities as they are all expensive, as is boating.

For those who are members of more than one parish, do you also see declining numbers in those other activities?
