We are contemplating replacing our existing Committee Boat with a 2009 QS 640 Pilothouse. It will be kept on a drying flat mud/sand mooring for 6 months of the year on the wash, then ashore for winter. The key questions are is the boat built well enough to cope with this?
A second question is how stable is the boat in a short chop as a working platform for race management?
Thirdly any issues with 100hp Mariner of the same vintage, serviced and with about 700hrs on it.
