quicksilver 25w-40 mercruiser?

Hi, i have a 4.3 mercruiser V6 l/x and I was wondering if there is an alternative to the above engine oil as because it has a picture of a boat on the front it is a tad expensive. Also does anybody know the fuel filter part number for this 1988 engine.

Any 15/40 or 10/40 carrying A3 rating. About 11 quid most places. Keypart know the filter number
