After much searching for a replacement for our much loved Drago 600 with 100hp outboard, we discounted the twin engined options of Sealine S28,Targa 29 and single engine S23, and focused on Bavaria, in particular a 29DC with a single KAD300. With the decision made, it was time to sell Ki-La. I placed an advert on flea bay sunday evening with a "buy it now, make best offer", and to my amazement within ten minutes I had an offer! It was a fair opening offer, not far off an acceptable price, so a few more pictures and emails later and the prospective purchaser travelled from Plymouth to Torquay to view her this morning. He immediatlely fell in love with her, helped by the stack of receipts and history going back to new, and a price was agreed on the spot, deposit paid and me having to arrange to get the trailer down to Devon. The agreement is I will recover her onto the trailer and the new owner will hitch up, settle up and head to Plymouth- a very quick transaction in my mind, and goes to show that a well presented boat with a comprehensive history will sell if the asking price is realistic. Now looking forward to this season in a bigger boat!!
