Hi all ,
i thought maybe i should do "proper" hello , we just managed to get our hands on a colvic countess 28 , she's basically ok but needs some tlc (well quite alot really ) hopefully when all the work is done we will berthed at bridgemarsh marina on the crouch that is if biff keeps the space for us .

any way i hope to meet some of the east-coasters along the way .

Hi Nigel, you pm me a few weeks ago near the time that the colvic countess you was proposing to purchase was being surveyed, you obviously now own it, I also have a colvic countess and are moored in bridgemarsh a very nice place and friendly people, hope to see you soon .

Boat is called "Micaralee" , i cant see us being at the marina much before july as the boat is out of the water at bradwell and needs a bit of work , some professional , some diy but i'm hopefull to get 2/3 wks away on her at end of july , not far tho maybe walton backwaters and the deben while the family are getting their sealegs back .
 
Hoping to get onto my Deben mooring soon, so I'll keep an eye out for you if you make it there. Kettle is always on even if I am only little, maybe a drop of something else too. Don't be shy, just say hi

Welcome to the forums. I know youve been lurking for a while. Congrats on your new purchase mate. I know she needs some work and some of your loving touches but I'm sure she'll be as great as your other boats have been in the past.

i beleive we met in Gillingham a year or two back , were you moored a couple of boats down from "Truant" a Etap 28 , belongs to Andy M ? , you had someone up ya mast and we came on board to lend a hand if my memory serves .

yes hopefully Biff is keeping a space for us , on the inside of the pontoon to the right of the ramp - i think .

We are also at Bridgemarsh - Moody 31 called Vela Rose, halfway down the main pontoon where Black Magic and (soon) Full Circle are. It's a nice friendly place.

Say hello when you see us - we are there (or out sailing) most weekends.
