Quick hello and what is this boat??!!

OK, so we've established that the boat should be fine on a sunny afternoon on the Broads, but probably not ideal for going across to Denmark with a gale forecast. I can think of a few boats that would apply to, so I just want to wish the OP good luck with the restoration and lots of fun on the water. BTW, when you do get out on the water, lifejackets are for all sizes of boat in all conditions. The habit of putting them on as automatically as you put on your seat belt in the car is a good one.

Generally speaking, danger is there with everything. Let’s be honest, boats, cars, trucks, motorbikes etc etc are ALL dangerous in the wrong hands. Thankfully I have a brain, and no boating experience, so I take onboard ALL advice, and would certainly not put myself or anyone else in danger.
You may even find this project is way too expensive to actually get on a river, so may become a giant flowerpot in the garden

Well I'm not frightened of flying but you'd never get me on a Boeing 737

Apart from the ill-fated 737MAX, the 737 range has been very reliable, with only a 0.06 fatal crash rate per million flights. This is one of the lowest rates for commercial aircraft.
Geez! Another stuff-up.

(Do you know I've just been awarded another trophy? "25 Being an incredible nice bloke"
