Hello everybody I'm an off grid solar/wind turbine engineer. I design and fit solar panels and turbines to places without mains electricity such as boats, camper vans and remote dwellings. If your having issues with any aspect of a solar/wind system or are interested in fitting either to your boat I'm hear to try and answer your questions.

Hi I haven't fitted Sola yet but wish to,my boat is Ketch rigged so no realistic after gantry option, so I am thinking of mounting either side of the cockpit aft of the steering position on the life lines.....not ideal but feasible?

What is the difference in wind and solar regulators?

I understood that it has something to do with the amount of current going trough...
