Questioned by RNLI re not wearing lifejacket.

Really? so why then do people have rules such as lifejackets on at night...

Becuase they think they will be in the water longer because it will take longer to locate them. If they're in the water longer they might lose the strength to swim. Or maybe they put their LJ on with the intention of using it as a harness. Or maybe there are other equally obvious reasons.

Either way, it is NOT becuase they assume you can't drown in daylight.

HTH.

Don't agree, In daylight I expect that my crew may be able to see me & turn round, plus I reckon I'm a damn sight more likely to be mown down in the dark by other boats.
Anyway, at the end of the day it's my choice ;)

Overall, we all have a (roughly) one in eighty chance of dying of something within the next twelve months.
Forgive me if I don't get too stressed by the (roughly) 1 in 200,000 chance that I might drown in a boating accident.

Yet......
This suitable?

For heaven's sake. Aim higher man. (60% fee BTW)

If it works for the Mail, it'll work anywere.

Anyways... its them or the Express. If you were in a suit, then the Telegraph might have been a option. Lack of tatoos and youth means the Sun and Star are out, The Times isnt buying jack, and you are far too middle class for the Mirror.

Of course if thats your sister, we might be able to get you into "Thats Life!"
