Here is a basic question - if the prop was unbolted from the gearbox....
1) would that allow the shaft to be pushed back to allow engine to be moved back i.e is it fixed or can it move once disconnected?
2) If it was moved back and dangling free is it likely to leak through the stuffing box as the angle of dangle would have changed from being in a fixed position?
3) finally can this disconnection only be done on the hard?
