The true answer is that all we 'raggies' are so much in tune with the sea and with sailing that we dont need colour coded ropes. One sniff of the wind, one glance at a far off horizon, and we instinctively pull the right one.

Bit like the way you stnkies instinctively reach for the right glass.

Red=head, so all red marked lines are for trimming the head-sail: halyard and sheets
Blue= main, halyard, cunningham, downhaul, sheet, topping lift
Green= spinnaker, topping lift, downhaul, halyard, sheets and guys
