Just returned from our first sail aboard Lady Jayne.
We noticed the sheeting angle for the jib was all wrong, probably because we removed the long bowsprit and replaced it with the original. I guess the original owner has moved the ring bolts (that serve as fairleads) forward. I need to move them aft to get the requisite 45 degree angle, but wondered if anyone out there could measure the distance from, say the forward shrouds, to the fairleads? Would be helpful to know we have got it right before drilling even more holes in the poor boat.
Latest film added to the blog showing todays sail. Not much of a film but at least it's got a boat in it! (http://www.theblindsailor.co.uk/video/)
I have posted this question on the CCC forum but it is not as active as this one!
Thanks.
