question for 50ft+ boat owners

My question is prompted by the amount of any boat review given over to the design and layout of the boats berths.
This puzzles me, as I would have thought the last place you spend much time ,conscious, is in that part of the boat. Yet a review seems to go, handles well, good cockpit but WOW look at the master suite.
Now ok, the designers are presumably responding to client demand, but a great cockpit I understand, and a great saloon I can see the advantage of, even a great shower.. but what is so exciting about somewhere to sleep?

For me (until I sold her) it was the ability to get up, have a shave and shower, get dried, get clean clothes from the wardrobe, and get dressed without banging into everything, before opening the door to be greeted by out guests who were always up first.
