Queens Jubilee

But wasn't it always going to end this way - sigh!

On the up side, I'm looking forward to my 'loser's consolation' of two free bankside tickets :)

PS: just spotted in time that my laptop had auto-corrected 'bankside' to 'backside'! Eek, phew, that could have been a bit awkward to explain later:rolleyes:

Also rejected, suspecting ATYC hierarchy have bagged most of the old pals places, judging by the previous press!

I think a St Kats party might be more fun than being in the pen bank side, let's see.....

I suspect your boats are in a slightly different category, being of historic interest, and have quite rightly been included!

However, I was referring to Tupperware Navy vessels...:D

I'll bet they're predominantly ATYC people....

Yup, we're rejected too. Booked into St Kats anyway, so not too disappointed.

Even without necessarily subscribing to the ATYC Conspiracy Theory (which actually is quite tempting!) I rather suspect that a Sealine was never going to get through the selection process - LOL! :D

I am in tupperware navy section, not classic, but based in Putney, the start!! Also did both of the rehearsals. Oldgit, are you still waiting?

Not in either. Did both rehearsals and have a unique English built boat. Somewhat disappointed. And irritated. And confused. We put in a lot of input, really helped shape it... and got binned. I suppose the blue rags who could not sail straight will get in though. Not a great day.

As per earlier, I'm out. Slightly disapointed as the boat is a 1961 english Cheverton, built in the Isle of Wight and lovingly restored.

Mind you as a Day Skipper with only 2 years experence, I was worried about the trip round from the solent and was going to hire a pro skipper to help.... so I guess its for the best and lets face it, its about £1K and a month off work saved.
