Leaving the dock. She has a very distinctive matt black hull

In Southampton Water

Joined by the Waverley, struggling to keep up. The QE had a huge booming horn that could have been heard on the Isle of Wight. The Waverley responded with an Asthmatic wheeze

Towards the bottom of Southampton Water. The accompanying leisure boats behaved well on the whole but the skipper of the mobo at the front was getting a bit closer than I wanted to

All in all a very impressive ship, I could manage a round the world cruise on her

A real tribute to Italian design and ship building.Shame about the interior design ... Posh and Becks with hints of Louis XIV of France and Tesco Homeware :)

You think so, to me it looks no different to the other cruise ships pack and stack no real lines to it, just looks like a wedge to me. I think the QM, QE2 etc look much better.

I think it was a joke about a ship commissioned by a historic British company, and named after a British Monarch, being designed and built in Italy.

It's lovely what they do with the decor in old folks homes nowadays. Zimmer races on deck 3 promenade every afternoon. :) Nice little ship. Royal Caribbean somehow seems more attractive on the eye, wallet, fun and adventure.

Theres no money around of course and we are all dead skint and up to our eyeballs with mortgages n credit cards and old folkes surviving on £100 quid a week pensions or on the average wage of around £25K .............but the first cruise sold out within a few mins, sort of hints that there is a big gap there somewhere.O well off to do my shopping at Aldi.If I leave it until just before they shut you can get the cabbages really cheap.:)
