Quarterly bill

Well chaps, firstly thanks for all the responses. 2nd...I've had everything checked from the lead to the boats electrics and all boatwise is perfect but the shore power lead and plug were very coroded (and something else which I can't remember what he told me) so have had that changed and all is sorted now. I also have to report rather embarrassingly that our two tube heaters have been on 24/7 for the past year!!!!! Don't ask!! :o
Oh and David (DKM)....nearly spat my coffee reading your post and realising who you are lol.

:)
P.S. Trevor...thanks for your advice. Much appreciated.

:D :D 8+ litres an hour adds up eh???!!! (Assuming you can manage the load to run mostly on one genset).
Will you get to Cannes this year MYAG? I was there yesterday and had a good look at some nice merchandise on the squeeker stand. AG is listed on their board. I'm back at the weekend

Unfortunately not, got the dates wrong and now too busy running 2 gens (stabs, a/c, watermaker, galley) to keep the invited guests happy, still swimming in 28+ water here. Will only make it to Monaco and Ft L this year.

I think you answered your question in post #11... Think of some high wattage appliances and your list features a few!:cool:

Using the boat most weekends and a few days during the week when I can over the summer for sure means my usage will be higher than most I guess. Hairdryer, straighteners etc (usual girlie stuff :D ) I will also stick the fan heater on if it gets nippy in the cockpit but there's been no call for that this summer so that's not really a factor this time around.
Re the water heater...no, that's always switched off when we leave but is on continually while onboard.
I will switch off fridges from now on too and see what difference that makes.
Thanks all.

:)

You only missed off the kettle...

... and you want to turn off the fridge and save about £3 ? :p
