Trying to find a couple of fenders to put on the quarters of my lovely clinker built rowing boat. Now I seem to be able to find corner fenders to bolt onto pontoons, and quarter fenders to screw onto big motor boats, but nothing to hang daintily over the quarter of a dinghy. I am sure these things used to exist. Any suggestions?

Quarters, as in the back corners of the boat. Not quarters as in one fourth of normal size.

A bit like a bow fender, but smaller and with roughly a 90 degree bend in them, so that they hang round the edges of the transom. I am sure I have seen them in the past, but cannot find any now.

OK, I knew what you meant, I was exploring the potential double meaning of small (dinghy) size "Quarter" and corner of boat "Quarter". I just found the guitar that Google came up with amusing, so I shared it. Sorry.

No apology needed, I knew you knew I was not looking for a guitar. Was just putting it back up there in the hope that someone may actually be able to help. Just finished varnishing and keen that the corners do not get bashed again. May need to be creative.

I've got them on my dinghy - fit nicely, made by Anchor fenders I think, mine are white, I think blue also available.
Just looked, yes Anchor fenders, called corner fenders and the smallest are suitable for 70 to 90 degrees corner.
