Hi
Any recommendations for fender socks that don’t split after 4-5 months. Mine are shabby and not even half a year old.
Who makes good uns??

They didn't last for me in the med (sorry Pete!) but they do take some punishment. I got Fendequip covers last year and they have lasted well, although the colour has been affected by the sun.

Au contraire mon frere! I bought some branded fender socks from Smart Marine in 2015 and, except for one sock which has torn slightly, the rest are still in good order now

Ah, I see we're comparing apples with bananas! The ones that didn't last for me were totally different, much thinner, they were black, roll top type. Yours are way fancier!

As you chaps have realised, I sold two different type of fender socks:

1) A stocking type material in packs called "Rollneck". When I started selling it there wasn't much competition but over the years others started selling it and it wasn't worth doing it any longer. I sold many hundreds of packs and only had a single complaint.

2) Very high quality custom made fender socks (as per Mike F's photo). These are really nice and can last for years. I have never pushed this product too much as they're very expensive (think £60 per sock) and the margin wasn't great.
