Q signal flag shape

I have a yellow pennant shaped flag but not a square yellow Q flag. Will I be hung drawn quartered or arrested in the CI by flying this pennant in lieu of a square yellow?

I think the Channel Islands Coastal Artillery mark their floating practice targets with triangular yellow pennants.

A yellow pointy shaped pennant or cut off pointy is not a Q flag which is yellow rectangle. So in effect you are not flying a Q flag. Which may have consequences. ol'will
