PVC or Hypalon?

Any ideas how I can tell if my Valiant RIB is made from Hypalon or PVC... tis very floppy and will require repairing /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

I have a 2.3m Valiant rib and it is PVC

All Valiant RIBS are made from PVC. IBS in South Woodham Ferrers are UK distributors.

The two part glue is a much better and more long lasting repair medium. Dont bother buying small repair kits, if you go to a proper rib or dinghy retailer, they will be able to match the dinghy colour with a large sheet of PVC bought by the length and much cheaper.

When rumaging though the the lockers (There has been so much stuff left on the boat by the previous owner, I havn't even begun to work out what it's all for) I found a strip of grey PVC and wondered what it was for... I now know!
