Put a project thread in this section?

Hi All,

I have recently purchased (another!) but very small speed boat. I was just wondering if this would be the right section to post up a project thread to keep updated? Or would occasional updates/pictures pushing the same thread to the top just get on peoples nerves?

From what I've witnessed, such threads are popular. I for one love the custom builds (Like Cookee's & JFM's) and the project threads. I'm about to undertake one of my own and they provide great inspiration!

There are often old threads re-vitalized and provided it is for genuine updates most here seem to enjoy them - a kind of 'where are they now' curiosity I think!

Yes lots of pictures are essential, I for one get easily bored with too many words, especially those of more than three syllables, and if you have to use an online dictionary to find what it means, too many distractions with words, post a picture it's far more interesting than lots of text to go through.

If you're not sure what I mean, ask Lakey, he posts some very informative pictures without the need for lots of words
