Push Pit Mountings

I am looking for some form of stainless steel clip/clamp to secure a vertical mast to the horizontal part of the push pit rail. I have tried the usual suspects such as PICEA and Seasure with no luc. Any other suggestions welcome.

alternatively if plastic would do then Plastimo sell clamps to suit 25mm tubes which can be mounted vertically or horizontally- cost about £11 each

i have recently used jubilee superclamps for this very purpose. replace the securing bolts with a threaded rod cut to size, face the clamps in opposite directions with the threaded barrels to the outside, thread the rod in from one side, once thru` the first clamp put 4 nuts on and screw it thru`to the second clamp. once you have it set up close the clamps up with the 2 outer central nuts and use the inner 2 as lock nuts.

Plastimo do a strong black platic block for 1 inch rails. We recently bolted two of these back to back to solve this problem and mount a verticle pole for AIS and nav light. Came from the local chandlers, about £7 I think.
