I would avoid ones designed for caravans because they are likely to have cheap components that will corrode. I bought mine from Baseline Baseline Marine Products Ltd - Mini Push Button Latch with Knob but they aren't cheap. If you can re-use the buttons, they are the expensive bit and you can try and source just the latch mechanism. I suspect that part is the universal caravan part though, you can find them online for £1.90 (seach mini push button latch 15mm)

Many thanks all for the suggestions. I’ll try the ones on eBay and see how I get on. As others have said, Ill see if I can remove the existing buttons - after 20+ years they’re all still as good as new and are probably better than the replacements.

one thing that is puzzling me is why the latch itself is made from cheap metal. In this day and age you would think the internals would be better made from a reinforced plastic.

2nd that, in my previous career I used to buy many hundreds of those from Hafele, relatively inexpensive, two or three quid depending on the style of push button, receiver etc that you ordered. Generally a very good service, and not very much that will catch them out.
