My recently acquired Hunter Pilot has a battery monitor with the name Pulsetronik Battman on it. Unfortunately, it seems to be dead, and I don't have any documentation to go with it.

Can anyone help in tracing the manufacturer/supplier please? I've tried all the usual methods (including Google) without success.

Thanks,

Gary Miller

Hi gazza,

I've use one of these battery monitors for about 14 years now and it's a superb bit of kit and well worth sorting out.

The manufacturers are:

KG Knutsson Handels AB
S-191 81
Sollentuna
Sweden

and the Service Centre is:

Ostergarde Industriomrade
417 29
Goteborg

Tel: 031-55 07 06

Telefax: 031-51 51 83 56

Please note that this info is a few years old. I have a later manual (and presumably info) on the boat, but won't be aboard until later this coming week.

Let me know if you need it.

I assume you've checked that any fuse in the supply line hasn't blown and that the loom connections are in good condition. PM me if you aren't sure about the wiring and I try and help out. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

hmmm. "Pulstronik" seems a better search term. Can you check the spelling pls, and also give any ID numbers ?

thanks

Your spelling is correct. The reference number on the box mine came in is:

Art. No. PU 1224 AHR

Have no idea whether this is a unique number for my unit, or the generic number.

I bought mine from Aquamarine, so it might be worth gazza checking with them first - if they're still about.
