Boat is a Parker 275. One of the bolts attaching the pulpit to the boat has sheared.
I have posted on the Parker forum but someone on here might have generic advice.
Its not clear on looking at it how it is attached at all! The bolt seems to be coming out of the end of one of the uprights on the pulpit. Theres a picture half way down this page of the arrangement http://www.yachtsnet.co.uk/archives/parker-275/parker-275.htm
The anchor locker is glassed in. So no access from in there.
So it seems to me I either have to try and gain access from inside the boat. However the gap between the anchor locker and the hull must only be very small.
Or the pulpit was attached to the toerail before it was screwed down. And therefore i need to unscrew both sides of the toerail.
Also what is the usual arrangement. Studding? Bolt?
Cheers
