Thanks for the help in telling me what was missing from my dinghy rig, I now know where everything fits!!
I realise that the original wooden extension for the lower mast had rotted away, I have made a new one but now need a roller to fit into the top of this wooden extension to take the gaf raising halyard; In fact I recall that the original had a double block inset into the extension although I cant think what the second roller did?
I cant see this type of roller in dinghy or chandlers guides nor have I seen similar in DIY shops.
I just intend to cut a slot in the top of the wooden extension so that the rollers will fit in that being bolted in from the sides.
Is this a bit of 'normal' dinghy gear and can anyone kindly point me in the right direction.
