pull out sofa bed on phantom 38

the metal pull out bed under my sofa appears to be a separate item and not part of the sofa but is all rusty and past cleaning up. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement for a phantom 38 ?

Just get the dimensions and google sofa bed mechanism. Loads of suppliers. Fairline will have bought it from such a supplier.

I heard that the original had to be modified to avoid hitting the drinks cabinet opposite. Make sure you measure the open length, therefore.

If the cost is daft then you could remove it, take it to bits and get it blasted and powder coated. It will come up like new and PC is not that expensive.

Send it to be galvanised and be done with it .
As any shore side replacement will start to rust as you walk it along the pontoon

Our 42 did. 42 is same as 40 apart from ext swim platform. NB I'm talking the 1990s models here- same era as OP's 38.
