Just for that perfect winter cruise. Sailing to a pub with an open fire.

Ferryboat Inn - N. Fambridge
White Hart - Burnham
Green Man - Bradwell
Butt and Oyster - Pin Mill

Go on add to my list so I can create a pissage plan.

Well whatever you do don't sail to the Walton & Frinton Yacht Club as their very expensive new club house will no no longer have an open fire.

doesn't the pub in Orford have an open fire (from memory)?

Bonus points for the Butt & Oyster as they allow dogs, but no children, in the bar.

I have a dog and a child and know which one I prefer to drink with!

Drove past (again) at the weekend, the exterior is being painted and the latest note on the door says that it should be open again by the end of October....so watch this space!

Ok. This weekends pissage plan went like this:
Fri evng: N. Fambridge. Ferry boat INn
Sat lunch: Pagelsham. Plough & anchor
Sat evng: Burnham. White harte
Sun late afternoon: bradwell. Green man.
