So what was the joke? I thought it was the whole idea of different coloured elastic bands.

The joke was about having bought them in a stationers for 69p rather than a chandlers where they displayed as "personal equipment identifiers - £7.99" Perhaps that was a bit non-PC for their advertising sales department!

That's it - I've done bits for PBO in the past.
Anything that could - however remotely - offend or upset (potential) advertisers gets edited out. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

It's a bit sad, but I suppose you can't blame 'em for wanting to make a living.
