Having recently popped down through Teddington Lock, I was struck by the number of 'river pikeys' moored just upstream of the lock cut like so much detritus. They are I am sure very nice people but their combined appearance is to me complete blot on the landscape as elsewhere on the river and I have made my views plain in this regard on previous posts.
However my point here is, are these public moorings and if so for how long or are they paying someone to stay there?
I am sure they have all paid their EA Licence being in such close proximity to TL but I am curious as to their tenure.
