My favoured jollop is Flag Performance Extra, normally around £67-£72 plus postage per 2.5ltr.
It was very succesful in 2009 season on Full Circle.

I have found it on clearance offer at under £50 with FREE delivery.
It seems they have all coulours, and I will be buying 2011 stock now that my free International Micron Extra has run out.

Send me a PM for link.

anti foul cheap(ish)

Hi, Jim Iam in bridgemarsh yacht Lazy Daze Colvic 28, I applied plastimo antifoul in march this year it came with the boat which i purchased last October, mid september the boat felt as if it was towing a concrete block through the water! the engine could only manage
2800 revs, on a low water spring tide i found a forest of weed 5"long covering the hull cleaned it of where possible and back to normal engine fine. So Iam in the market for a good antifoul which will work in and around the crouch. I will PM you for the link. regards stuart.

Any idea how many litres for a 26ft Westerly Centaur please?

I've never done it before - but seems to be something I'll have to do now I've bought the boat!

If you are mean, one tin. Maybe a bit more for a proper job, but you should be able to save 1/2 a tin for next year.

i allow 2.5 litres for one coat on 28ft Countess and i do 2 coats , so if you get 2 tins you have plenty with some left over for either mid season touch up or help with next year

Many thanks - 2 tins it is!

As I dont know whats on it already I'll get some primer too.

I've not even sailed the thing yet and there's work to be done!

this info is on their site;

Copper based antifouling. Semi-hard to enable use in most craft up to 35 knots but still able to refresh its surface with some mild erosion. Proven performance for all types fouling in all waters.

indeed you will need primer too if its the first time you use this;

This product is self-priming when topping up existing (similar copper based) antifoulings; otherwise FLAG Multi-Purpose Metallic Primer is required. Also suitable for long distance cruisers or racers via the semi-hard nature of the paint system.
